Global Waste Management Outlook (GWMO)
Posted on: 17th September 2015
The Global Waste Management Outlook (GWMO) published by UNEP sets out to make the case that waste management is not just necessary and beneficial, but that it is ESSENTIAL. It has huge impacts both not just on public health and environment but also millions of people who are engaged with waste management and recycling activities. It shows that waste management still is a neglected sector particularly in developing countries.
The publication has been presented during the ISWA Conference, 7 – 9 September 2015, in Antwerp. The leaflet, summary and full report can be downloaded from ISWA.org
